Yarelis E. García
Cary Corkin Award Recipient
Meet Yarelis Garcia, the 2025 Recipient of the Cary Corkin Memorial Award. The Clubs are proud to honor Cary Corkin, former Board Chair and passionate donor, by giving one of their highest honors in his name. The Cary Corkin Memorial Award is given to one individual annually who demonstrates and commits exemplary time, talent and treasure to the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, enriching the lives of youth in our communities. This year, we are proud to recognize Yarelis E. García with the Cary Corkin Memorial Award.
Yarelis first found the Clubs as a volunteer at the Hollis Street Clubhouse. She soon joined the staff as a program director, leading the charge within the Club's Computer Clubhouse Network Technology Lab and advancing the digital arts program in Framingham. Through her personal business, YG Companies, Yarelis and her husband Abner are responsible for bringing the Club's vision to life each Annual Gala & Auction through the centerpieces, decorations, and produced videos. Currently, Yarelis works part-time as the Club's Marketing & Development Manager.
Joining us on October 30, 2025 is your opportunity to help build even more bright futures in MetroWest. Remember, MetroWest needs Club Kids and Club kids need YOU!
