Jim Patterson

2026 Ron Young Memorial Award Honoree

 

Jim Patterson joined the Board of Directors in 2008.  His personal commitment to the organization became evident in the number of folks he invited to tour the Clubs as well as him joining in many meetings with major funders at each of the Clubs.   

 

Jim took a particular interest in the Framingham Club and was always available for Club walks and meetings at the old Pearl Street Club.  He not only represented the organization at the Board level but he also took time to talk with the kids, get to know them, and hear their story. 

 

He stepped into the role as Treasurer for the Board and kept a close eye on the financial health and wellbeing of the organization.  Jim came to the Board with over 50 years as a CPA, a Board member for the 200 Foundation, and more recently on the Board for the Framingham Rotary Club.  His ethics and values have helped guide BGCMW over the years and his commitment to equal opportunity for all youth is why Jim is the Ron Young Memorial award winner for 2026.
