Jeff Stupik
2024 Hall of Fame Inductee

For many of the Club’s most recent alumni, when they think of their time at the Club one person comes to mind: Jeff Stupik. Jeff was a member of the Marlborough Club back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and then he became a part of the staff starting in 1995. He worked at the Club until 2015, took a break for a bit, and then came back from 2018 to 2021.

When you ask Jeff what his role at the Club was, he simply says “provider of fun,” but his role was far more impactful than that. Jeff could be found throughout the Club – some days, he’d be in the gym running an All for 1 Game, other days he’d be organizing a Nok Hockey tournament in the Games Room, and almost every day, you could find him catching up with members asking how their days were and helping them work through their challenges. Jeff has the ability to turn a simple foosball tournament into the Super Bowl with a crowd eager to watch the game.

Jeff was like a hero to many of the people who worked at the Club, as well as the kids and their families. He always cared about what was best for the kids. Every gym game, activity, and conversation was led with a positive attitude and infused with a life lesson.

When he wasn’t working, Jeff could be found with his children, Brendan and Kyra, spending time with friends, or coaching basketball at the Club! Throughout the years, Jeff has been recognized for his dedication and hard work. As a youth member, Jeff received the Ralph Decker Leadership Award and the David Cotting Basketball Player of the Year. During his time as a staff member, Jeff received the NBA Jr/WNBA Jr. National Youth Coach of the Year, 58 Men’s League Basketball Champions, Staff Member of the Year, and Jeff was even recognized through the Massachusetts State Senate for his dedication to working with children. We are so grateful for the impact that Jeff has had on so many young people and it is an honor to induct Jeff Stupik into the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest Hall of Fame.
