Cathy Mogavero

2026 Hall of Fame Inductee

 

Cathy spent over 30 years helping our communities in various ways, including helping non-profits succeed in reaching their goals and fulfilling their missions.  Cathy was the Executive Director for the Hudson Youth Center from 1990 – 1999.  

 

She successfully managed the organization, established goals and developed creative strategies to meet the financial needs for the Youth Center.  She was an advocate for the Youth Center, the Boys & Girls Clubs, and Girls Inc.  Cathy was instrumental in helping the Youth Center and Hudson Boys & Girls Club merge in 2000 and ultimately the merger that included the Marlborough Boys & Girls Club and Girls.  She advocated for an organization that could best serve the youth and families in both communities.  Her work with non-profits and the Boys & Girls Clubs did not end there.

 

Cathy was hired in 1999 as the Executive Vice President for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Over the years, Cathy has opened so many doors to funding opportunities, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities for Boys & Girls Club.  She has always kept the needs of the BGCMW front and center in everything she accomplished.  Cathy remains on the Board of Governors and is still a strong ally for BGCMW.
