Our Mission
Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest provides social, educational, physical and cultural programming for boys and girls in the MetroWest area. The intent of these programs is to enhance the development of children and to prepare young adults to be responsible and productive members of the community.

Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest

One of the largest Boys & Girls Club organizations in Massachusetts with three Clubhouses (located in Marlborough, Framingham, Hudson) plus 12 school pick-up locations with 750 youth served daily.

BGCMW operates with 20 full-time and 107 part-time staff and a strong community backing with 1,000+ individual donors, 200+ corporate partners, 450+ volunteers annually.

A yearly membership costs $25. Research shows Club membership increases protective factors while reducing risk behaviors. 94% of Club members anticipate graduating high school, with 96% of members report being on grade level.

65% of members qualify for free or reduced-price school lunch and 59% live in single-parent households. Many youths living in high-poverty communities consider the Club their “home”.

Independent analysis shows for every $1 invested in a Boys & Girls Club in Massachusetts, an estimated $4.90 is generated in social return, reflecting increased lifetime earnings and improved community wellbeing.
Joining In a Leadership Role

Board members serve as the organization's highest leadership body, shaping mission, strategy, and fiduciary oversight.

As a Board Member, you have direct opportunity to influence CEO performance, strategic planning, and program direction, as well as have the chance to be an advocate and ambassador — enhancing public image and expanding the Club's reach.

Each member serves on a specific committee (Finance/Operations, Resource Development, or Equity, Diversity & Inclusion), giving real hands on experience with the Clubs and the operational impact.

Board members have the chance to develop leadership, governance and fundraising skills while also being able to see the direct & visible impact in the daily lives of over 700 kids.
