Opportunities to Get Involved and Make a Difference!

Background checks are a legal requirement that ensure member safety, and must be completed prior to volunteer placement. We encourage you to connect with a Club near you to find out what volunteer opportunities they have and where your time can make the biggest impact.

Mentor a Child:

Volunteers may choose 1 day per week to volunteer directly with our kids. We recommend a 1 hour commitment for a minimum of 8 weeks. Our Clubs are located in Framingham, Hudson & Marlborough. Program areas include:

LearningCenter

Mon-Fri 2:30-6pm

Offer 1 on 1 help to children in grades 1-6 in various academic areas. Will need volunteers to implement activities like trivia contests, spelling bees, homework help and more.

Recreation Assistant

Mon-Fri 2:30-6pm

Will work with Recreation Coordinator and Program staff to run daily tournaments that include pool, foosball, nok hockey, ping pong, etc.

Computer Clubhouse Assistant

Mon-Fri 2:30-6pm

Offer help in the Intel Computer Clubhouse. Will need volunteers to help members get familiarized with PC’s and its functions. The computer clubhouse is equipped with new PC’s with high-end software, music studio and a video editing center.

Sports Assistant

Mon-Fri 2:30-6pm

Will work with Recreation Coordinator and Program staff to run daily gym games.

Basketball Coaching

November-March season

Coaching takes a special person who cares about youth and who can model teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of being involved in a positive, healthy activity. Please contact the Marlborough or Hudson Clubhouse for more information.

Teen Nights

Mon-Fri 6pm-9pm

Will work with Teen Night staff to implement teen appropriate activities. Help with Friday Night Football Field Trips and Dinner a Movie Nights.

Volunteer Your Talent:

Share your expertise in the areas of marketing, public relations, events, project management or fundraising to benefit the kids that need us the most.

Maintenance

Our Clubs are each used by hundreds of kids daily, and our equipment and facilities get extreme use by active kids. If you have a skill or an interest in this area, your help can save the Club dollars better spent on providing activities for youth, and you can help create an environment where members feel comfortable and at home. Includes: construction, painting, cleaning, grounds keeping, landscaping, van repair, etc.
